Here's how it works All you need to do is promise to read 5 to 15 minutes per day, and as you read a book (or 2 or 3...) come to the children's room at the library to log your title(s). When you do, you'll earn the give-away for the week: a make-your-own sticker, cookie coupon for Highland Park Market, High Five Ruler Bookmark, and more. If you read and log in books on four separate weeks, you'll then earn the GRAND PRIZE GIVE-AWAY A DISK LAUNCHER Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins June 1. |

Bring the whole family to Kent Memorial Library for some magic and slap-stick comedy. Christopher has entertained audiences in Europe and in the United States. His mix of magic, sarcasm and one-liners will be sure to keep children and adults howling with laughter. Registration begins June 12. |

Children ages 3 - 5 are invited to a 45-minute story time filled with fiery tales and a sizzling craft. Registration begins June 16. |
Fossil Hunter Tuesday, July 7 at 3:00 PM |
Bring the whole family to experience an underwater hunt--SCUBA gear and all. The Fossil Hunter will take you on an adventure that includes a hands-on collection of prehistoric shark tooth, 10" Tyrannosaurus-Rex tooth, prehistoric insects, and other fossil. Registration begins June 23. |

Children ages 5 - 10 will love this "who done it" mystery theater with the Marshmallow Masquers. Join Detective Sam and solve the Case of the Mysterious Fossil Find. Registration begins July 3. |
Cooking with Katie Tuesday, July 21 at 1:30 PM |
Children ages 9 - 14 are invited to join author Katie Wilton for a hands-on cooking class. You'll be making recipes from Kathie's cookbook--parmesan pita triangles, cream cheese filled strawberries and more--then each participant will have a chance to sample their tasty culinary creation. Registration begins July 7. |

Children in grades K - 4 will enjoy the art of molding Polymer Clay into
everything from
bears to bunnies. Registration begins July 8. |
Puppet Show Wednesday, July 29 at 2:00 PM |
Journey though the Kingdom of Riddles with Sparky's Puppets. Children ages 3 - 10 are welcome to join a knight, a jester, and a dragon on a quest to capture a unicorn, but before you can claim victory you must first solve the riddles! Registration begins July 15. |
